So I came across a cult like group called the Garbage Eaters and these blurbs intrigued me:
Rooney said he and other members lead simple lives modeled on Jesus and the early disciples. They have forsaken their jobs, families, educations and worldly possessions to travel the country in small subgroups witnessing the Gospel.
and
The men ride homemade mountain bikes and wear unkempt beards and tunics. They earn the little money they need by repairing bicycles.
Now people say these guys are cultist…and they sure are wierd but I wonder are they any weirder (and misguided) than Dobson?

Hmm…I don’t think Jesus road a bicycle. And I’m not sure if one could be weirder than Ed Dobson.

Dobson reminds me a bit of Jim Jones. He is a known “spiritual” leader, with a following who mistakes discernment for “casting the first stone” or judging.
I would have been labeled as the Garbage Eaters – legalist, cultic and just plain weird.
