A Review of “The Apocolypse Code”

9 Jan

Read my comments on Lahaye below to see why I think this book is necessary…It is by Hank Hanegraaff. Dan has done a great job of reviewing it here.  Dan Says:

I love the way he describes the incredible nature of how the Old Testament is filled with types and shadows of Jesus. This seems to be the basis of why he feels that the LaHayes/Hagees/Lindseys of the world have so grossly misinterpreted apocalyptic passages, because they aren’t recognizing that Jesus fulfilled those types, thus making them obsolete (read the book of Hebrews).

“Indeed, only when we interpret Scripture in light of Scripture rather than Scripture in light of the daily newspaper do we perceive its perspicuous meaning.” (Hanegraaff, 233)

Take that Tim LaCrazy.
