That was a great quote…it had the entire congregation at the Resurgence…wondering if they should laugh, throw stones or be convicted…
It was great…that whole sermon of his was great.
I love the fact that Chandler can say “jackass” in a sermon and it’s just awesome. That was an excellent message.
What I love is that he said it more than once! Sometimes someone will say it once to shock..but he kept saying it!
Plus he said it about Driscoll (who I love but he does act like a jackass) and Driscoll was in the room and his church hosting the conference. There’s a facebook group called “I have a man-crush on Matt Chandler” Gotta love the guy.
I figure one of the best things about Driscoll is that if you happen to act like a jackass (and I happen to have that issue…lol)is that Driscoll demonstrates that God can use even those of us who are tact challenged. 🙂

Read the quote again…he wasn’t talking about Driscoll being a jackass but all the other guys who try and be Driscoll instead of who God has called them to be.
